This Privacy Policy explains how CinemaKSA ("we", "us") handles information when you use our website www.cinemaksa.com and the CinemaKSA mobile application (together, the "Service").
In short: the Service requires no account or registration, and we never ask you for personal information such as your name, email address, phone number or payment details.
Like most websites, our servers automatically record technical data when you visit a page or when the app requests content from our servers: your IP address, browser or device type (user agent), the referring page, the pages you visit and the time of the visit. We use this data for internal statistics, to improve the Service and to protect it from abuse. It is not used to personally identify you.
We use Google Analytics and a Google Ads tag to understand how the Service is used and to measure its performance. Google may use cookies and similar identifiers to collect usage data in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
We store your preferences — your language and selected city — in your browser's or device's local storage so you don't have to choose them on every visit. These preferences stay on your device and are not sent to us. Cookies set by Google services are described in the previous section.
When you select a showtime, you are taken to the cinema chain's official website or app (such as VOX, MUVI, AMC or EMPIRE) to complete your booking and payment there. This Privacy Policy applies only to our Service; the cinema websites are governed by their own privacy policies, which we encourage you to review.
The Service loads some technical resources (such as stylesheets and fonts) from third-party content delivery networks including Cloudflare (cdnjs) and Google Fonts. When these resources are loaded, the provider receives your IP address as a normal part of serving the request.
We do not sell, trade or otherwise share your data with third parties, except as described above (Google for analytics) or where we are required to do so by law.
Technical server logs are kept only as long as needed for statistical and security purposes, after which they are deleted or anonymised.
The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. As described above, the Service does not collect personal information from any user.
